In the previous assignments, I've identified a potential market with foreigners and their inability to understand how to use their technological products. I conducted interviews and tried to gauge their interest in this potential market and try to give them an understanding with my product. I reached a genuine consensus that there is a market for my product. I've again interviewed 5 different people for this assignment. This time, I've conducted interviews with people that I think are outside the boundary of my product. These people, from what I've concluded, are tech-savvy millennials who understand how to use their technological products. I've asked them multiple questions regarding the product and whether they think there's a need for it. They've conceded that there is, but also bring up the genuine question whether this product will be able to succeed given the companies that already offer this type of support. Best Buy and Apple are the two big companie...

1) The opportunity I would like to present is one that would help integrate the entire community together into the technological universe. Too often in today's day and age with constant advancements in technology we find hundreds of thousands of people disconnected. There must be a reason why these people aren't able to truly witness these developments like us right? The answer is a quite a simple one, as they truly just don't understand how these technological products work. This truly is a shame, as we are in the most technological period in our world's history, and everyone who isn't able to experience this is at a disadvantage. Whether it be due to a lack of understanding with a language adaption or just a general lack of understanding with technology in general, this disadvantage hinders hundreds of thousands of people in today's society. 2) My product to solve this issue is called KnowTech. KnowTech is an informative program for people to understand how to...

1) An opportunity I'd like to pursue is a application based program teaching people how to use current forms of technology. 2) Who) People who struggle with technology and how to use it, specifically foreigners who don't understand the native language of the country they're in. What) People who struggle to adapt to the technology that is currently being used in today's world. C) Why: In order for technology company's market share to grow, they need a growing percentage of potential customers. The main reason they're missing out on so many potential customers is because people don't understand how to use their products. This opportunity would bridge the gap and solve this solution. 3) Testing the who) Although my opportunity is meant towards foreigners who struggle with adapting to their new country's language and culture and thus lack the understanding of using technology, it can be applied to anyone. Testing the what) Because of the fact that this...

Economic Trends A) I found this article on Forbes. This article talked about a household fryer that uses air to fry food. Its simplicity and easy functionality are what makes it seem so appealing on the common marketplace. Reading this article, I came up with the idea that an opportunity exists for a healthy alternative of this type of product to exist. A household product that makes açai is what I think would be an appealing product of this nature. https://www.forbes.com/sites/curtissilver/2019/09/17/things-not-to-air-fry-in-your-air-fryer/#15b98418e271 B) Reading this information, I realized that this simplicity of having this product at home would make it very appealing for people to buy. Instead of running to a store to get an açai bowl and spending significantly more money, people can make a homemade bowl. C) The prototypical customer would be a millennial in their early to mid 20s. This is generally the marketplace for this type of food. D) I think this opportunity...

1) "After Dorian, Bahamas tackles massive clean-up" https://www.gainesville.com/news/20190912/after-dorian-bahamas-tackles-massive-clean-up This article is describing the long and tenuous struggle the Bahamas will have after the heavy impact Hurricane Dorian had on it. The article states that Hurricane Dorian has caused the Bahamas over $7 Billion worth of damages. As a result, the Bahamas is accepting any help it can get to help with their problem. Also included in the article is personal recollections of the Hurricane from citizens of the Bahamas. The ones I found most meaningful was a pastor who had his church destroyed from the Hurricane and a fisherman who has no source of income because all of his fish were killed. The problem in this story is that the citizens of the Bahamas have a huge problem on their hands of needing to repair $7 billion worth of damages but no source of income to help them with. Their sources of income were destroyed with the hurricane. The citizen...
4A: Forming an Opportunity Belief

My Belief: I am under the belief that college students are afraid to cook their own meals because they're scared of how bad they are at cooking from their own experience. Cooking basic dishes is a relatively easy skill and I don't understand why more college students don't cook more. Instead, they resort to eating out and this tends to be very expensive as it adds up. Description: College students, for better or worse, are lazy. Why take the time to go grocery shopping, cook, and then do the dishes after when you can get a meal delivered to you while you're sitting on the couch watching TV. Thus, the unmet need is hunger and the need to satisfy this is driven through laziness rather than action. If college students had more initiative instead of resorting to the easy option, they'd find themselves making more healthy and cheap meals rather than the fast food they constantly order through delivery services. This need has always existed and is going to further increas...
3A: My Entrepreneurship Story

My dad has always told me, if you like your job you won't work a day in your life. I decided to take this advice early on into life and buy and sell basketball cards. I was 12 years old at the time, and I loved the business side of trading basketball cards with my friends. This was also when I started getting heavily invested into basketball. My favorite team, the Los Angeles Lakers had just come off winning back to back championships. This passion combined with the satisfying feeling of making money at an early age got me hooked. By the time I was in middle school I was starting to sell the cards on eBay. I would buy all my cards in the beginning of the year of players that I thought would do well. By the end of the year I would sell all my inventory and 9/10 I would make a hefty amount of profit. I decided to get myself a gift to remind myself of my early entrepreneurship journey. I got a Magic Johnson signed baseball. This has great significance to me not only because it reminds...
