14A – Halfway Reflection

1) I've developed an incredibly organizational mentality to keep up with the requirements of this course. There is a lot of work involved to succeed in this course. When it comes to keeping track of lectures, taking notes, and completing the assignments and the cupcakes, it takes great organizational ability to succeed. This course isn't incredibility difficult per se, but it will be if you don't know how to organize yourself and manage your time. I feel like this type of behavior that I've developed will not only help me with the duration of this course, but also for my life after college where it will be even more essential to use.

2) The most prime moment where I felt like giving up was my senior year in high school playing for the basketball team. I was told in the beginning of the year by the coach that I wasn't going to get minutes to start the year. Having started the first 3 years of college, this was a pill that was extremely hard to swallow. I took over a week to make my decision, contemplating various factors whether I wanted to continue or not. I decided to stay. What pulled me through was having the respect of my teammates and my coach to not give up through adversity. I feel like this course has added to this tenacious attitude. By reading and learning about so many entrepreneurs and the struggles they had to make their dreams a reality, it's reminded me of my memory and how sweet the victory of success is when you're faced with extreme adversity.

3) Tip number 1, and I've explained this previously, is to develop an organizational lifestyle. This is essential to establish in this course and without it you will be left behind from all the other students. Tip number 2 is to enjoy what you're writing about. If you feel like doing the assignments are a chore, then you will hate this class. Find something that you have interest in while writing and you will not only have hope in yourself as an entrepreneur, but you'll have a great amount of passion while writing these assignments. Lastly, I would advise all students to strongly consider their business idea and making it into a reality. If you start thinking about how your business idea can become a reality, it will make these assignments much more productive because they're used as a step by step fixture to make your operation become a reality. This step by step nature will encourage you to never give up, because you aren't being piled with too much or too little at any moment during this course.
